The 2026–27 guide is the basis for current season summaries. Every decision still needs the controlling rule and any current agency notice.
If SC Hunt Check conflicts with a statute, regulation, emergency rule, property notice, or conservation officer, follow the official authority. Report the mismatch so we can correct the summary.

Official summary means we transcribed and simplified a current SCDNR-published date or rule. It does not mean the agency approved our wording.
Official link only means the opportunity depends on a draw, quota, property, or other condition that should not be reduced to one general date.
Date check compares today with a published calendar window. It does not know your license, tags, land permission, exact location, legal method, shooting hours, or closures.
